Today was one of those days which started early (for a weekend) and had back-to-back events for pretty much the entire day. One of the events was a volunteer shift doing equipment collection for the soccer league my younger son is in. I brought my knitting, including the smaller needle tips I knew I’d have to switch to soon. What I didn’t bring is the little tool that helps you loosen and tighten the tips. I had used it to tighten the tips but couldn’t get them off to put the smaller ones on. Alas.
Obligatory food content on my knitting blog: I made chocolate cupcakes with cookies ‘n creme frosting for the end of soccer season party. I used Trader Joe’s candy cane Joe Joes for the cookie ingredient and they were delicious! No pictures. Sorry.
Now I am going to go fall face down into my pillow and sleep like a log.
