I was going to finish my cuff today and show you a picture of that but it didn’t happen. Instead I spent a chunk of time vacuuming up dustballs and spider webs in my house. I kept noticing a bunch of dust on the stairs and it was haunting me. It took a while to get the kids to clean up everything and for me to do all the vacuuming so there wasn’t a lot of knitting time for me today.
I do have a picture for you, though, it’s from Erik and my belated anniversary fondue dinner. We had a reservation two weeks ago while the kids were at my parents but in the middle of it one of the kids got sick (one of the illnesses I mentioned). My lovely friend Jill volunteered to babysit this weekend instead so we could still have our fondue.
Who doesn’t love melted cheese? No one, that’s who.
Now, I need to go back to knitting my cuff. I’m at 1.5 of the 3 inches I need before I can bind off. So close!
Edited to add: Well, it turns out I switched to the smaller needles for the cuff and I wasn’t supposed to. Back and then forward. I’m up to 1 inch of cuff ribbing again!
