NaBloPoMo Day 23: ants vanquished? turned heel

I checked the wall this morning and did not see any ants. Yay! It’s going to be frosty over the next couple of days, though, so Erik brought our worm box inside and I’m wondering if some ants, or worse, are going to come out of that. It will go right back out when there stops being a frost warning!

In knitting news, I turned the heel on my wedge socks.

My wedges are not symmetrical to each other. I don’t know if that is wrong or not. Clearly, I can not be trusted with this knitting pattern. Hopefully I will still end up with a sock! Or even two.

asymmetry is a design feature! it has a great ring to it!:) they are going to be gorgeous, i’m totally making ella a pair too!

Except, I’m not sure it really is a design feature. We’ll see how the second sock turns out. Maybe I’ll mess up in the same way and they’ll be symmetrically asymmetrical. 😉

They would make totally cute kid socks!

I’ve used it once before, on a Lucy Neatby pattern, and really liked it.

I am thinking that looks like a good sock to do toe up instead.

I thought that too, Teenuh. The only hard part would be spacing the wedges on the foot so that you’re at the heel in the middle of one.
