When my mom saw all the cute blanket bunnies I had been knitting she said that was what she wanted for her birthday (instead of the potholders I offered to crochet). I didn't think I should make her a bunny with a blanket for a body, so I searched for a more substantial pattern and found the Knitted Cuddlies patterns free on Knitting Daily that had a rabbit option with a similar face. And, thus, my mom's birthday bunny was born!
